In the early 90s I spent 3 years working and living in Liverpool. I will never forget the experience, as it was so alien to me. Bottom line for me is I could drive away and start again - some people just can’t do that and I really feel for their scenario. There are a lot of great people in that town trying hard to live good lives and bring up their families in very difficult circumstances.
